If you like what you’ve read here, please contact us (join@birminghamwriters.org) and we’ll let you know when the next new members’ meeting will be, and answer any questions you may have about attending.

Because we are a private group with no external funding, we have to rely on charging an annual membership fee in order to pay for hiring venues or providing refreshments – however, visitors may attend four meetings for free in order to determine whether the group is for them.

If you choose to attend a fifth meeting, we will ask you to pay a membership fee. This is currently set at £30 for a whole year – members joining partway through a year only pay part of the full fee. A reduced fee is available for those who consider themselves to be on low income. We do not wish to exclude potential members on the basis of cost; all are welcome to talk to our treasurer if they would have difficulty paying the membership fee.
